Meet Our Owner
Jake Shaffer is the owner and lead guide of Branded Outdoors, a Maryland Eastern Shore outfitter specializing in Sika deer, whitetail deer, and turkey hunts.
Jake has been hunting since he was old enough to carry a firearm. With decades of hands-on experience scouting travel routes, patterning deer, and roosting turkeys, he has built a reputation for putting clients in the right place at the right time.
His deep knowledge of free-range Sika deer habitat in Dorchester County gives hunters a true advantage in one of the most unique hunting regions in the country. Jake is committed to ethical hunting practices, herd management, and providing every client with a safe, professional, and memorable experience.
When he’s not guiding deer and turkey hunts in the fall and spring, Jake spends his summers offshore putting clients on tuna and marlin — continuing his passion for the outdoors year-round.

Branded Outdoors was founded by Jake Shaffer during the 2018–2019 season with one goal in mind: to provide a place where people can create lasting memories.
We manage properties throughout Maryland’s Eastern Shore and continue to grow every year. Our team maintains year-round trail cameras and mineral sites to support a healthy deer herd, encourage consistent deer activity on our farms, and practice responsible game management. This commitment ensures every hunter who joins us has a memorable and successful experience.
