A few Frequently Asked Question for branded Outdoors
1. What kind of stands or blinds do you use?
We hunt from ladder stands, box blinds, lock-on stands, and ground blinds depending on property and conditions. Our goal is to give you the best chance at a trophy sika stag or whitetail buck.
2. What accommodations are provided?
We offer comfortable lodging near Cambridge, Maryland. Guests stay in a local lodge (see Airbnb listing) with dinners included. Breakfast and lunch are on your own.
3. Do guides take us to the stand location?
Yes, depending on the property. We may transport hunters by boat, truck, or side-by-side to reach the marsh or woodlands.
4. Can we hunt all day?
Yes. Once you’re dropped off, you stay until dark. If you shoot a deer, we’ll recover it—unless it would disturb other hunters, in which case we wait until evening.
5. How many hunters are in camp each week?
Typically, 6–8 hunters are in camp at one time.
6. Do you require safety belts?
Yes. Safety harnesses are mandatory and part of our hunting waiver. We also require guests to sight-in their weapon before entering the woods.
7. Are stores nearby?
Yes—Woolford Store, Goose Creek, and Walmart are close for supplies.
8. Can I fly in, and do you provide airport pickup?
You’ll need a rental vehicle; we do not provide airport transportation.
9. Do you require a deposit?
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required. Depending on the situation, we may transfer your booking to another date within the season.
10. Do you have a minimum size requirement?
Yes. Sika stags must have at least 4 points, and whitetail bucks must score 130 inches or higher.
11. What happens if I wound a deer?
If blood is drawn, the hunt is considered over. This policy is included in our waiver which you are asked to sign before your hunt begins.
12. How do you accept payment?
We accept check, Venmo, PayPal, or credit card. Payment is 50% at booking and the balance 30 days before the hunt.
13. Can we shoot a hind or doe?
Sika hind: Only on a 5-day rifle or bow hunt. On archery hunts, if you shoot a hind, your hunt ends.
